API Key Management

API keys authenticate your security tools with Ayzal AI Agentic SOC Platform. Each key is unique to your account.

📝 Creating an API Key

1. Log into your dashboard
2. Navigate to Settings → API Keys
3. Give it a descriptive name (e.g., Splunk Production)
4. Click Generate Key

✅ Best Practices

• Create separate keys for each tool (Splunk, CrowdStrike, Wazuh)
• Rotate keys every 90 days
• Disable unused keys immediately
• Never share keys via email or chat

📊 Key Status

• Active : Key is working and accepting events
• Inactive : Key is disabled (events will be rejected)

📈 Monitoring Usage

Check your dashboard for:

• Events processed per key
• Last used timestamp
• Alert volume by source

⚠️ If your API key is compromised, immediately disable it in Settings → API Keys and generate a new one. All events from the old key will be rejected.
